If possible, I think the Weapons in the Engineering Creation screen should be given thier own button for filtering, instead of being listed as Devices. There are so many weapons, the Device list can become rather cluttered once your crew have gained a good number of levels. This way, if you have something to make, that isn't a weapon, you don't have to scroll through a large list of weapons to get to shields, fuel, bots, ect..

I'm not in charge of the IS1 rewrite/patches, so I can't really speak to this. However, we will definitely try to keep this in mind when designing the IS2 interface. It's little stuff like this that can be easy to overlook, so thanks for pointing it out.
